Defensins are antimicrobial peptides that act mainly by disrupting the structure of bacterial cell membranes and found in many compartments body. play a central role defense against pathogens they considered part innate immune response. Material methods-Reagents: Animal culture media - Growth medium D-MEM, RPMI alpha -MEM was purchased from gibco, CA, USA. Fetal bovine serum (FBS)was obtained Invitrogen, DAPI, agarose SRL, India. Penicillium streptomycin solution himedia, Mumbai, modal: In bred populations Swiss albino mice either sex at 6-8 weeks age were used.
